Welcome to the world of DUNET, the genuine family firm that makes and distributes the DUNETIC non-electric glass washers.

We’ve been on the restaurant-equipment market since back in 1997, so this year is our 20th anniversary! We thank you, our customers, above all for helping us to stick around.

Throughout our existence, we have always used strictly high-quality, health-friendly, EU-sourced materials. It’s a fairly simple strategy, and our customers appreciated it even during the 2008 financial crisis, when many entrepreneurs were thinking thrice about what to invest in, and how much to invest. Those who invested in our products knew that these goods full of honest workmanship would pay off.

Even at night we dream about innovative new ideas... And each one of them has to end with a satisfied customer. That’s how it’s always been, and how it always will be.

Our core philosophy is high quality and start-to-finish local manufacturing for every product.

We are mainly active on the Czech and German markets, but you’ll also find us on the markets of Slovakia, Hungary, and Austria. We’ve started to feel at home in France and England as well. And in the last two years, we’ve successfully entered the American and Korean markets too. At the beginning of 2017, we also established partnerships in the Baltics.

DUNET’s History

Vladimír Dubák and a partner founded this company on March 20th, 1997 after many years of experience in the field. They first began with classical reselling of goods, and over time, in cooperation with a foreign partner, they expanded their portfolio to include their first non-electric glass washers. This “dolphin-type” washer was in large part designed on the basis of proposals of DUNET’s founders—Mr. Dubák and his partner. Only the execution of the idea, and later of the product itself, took place with the help of a foreign partner.

Throughout his life, Mr. Dubák was a wellspring of innovative ideas. He was capable of taking advantage of a situation and was always moving towards his dream, and so in 2005 he and his partner successfully designed their own original glass washer, the DUNETIC, which is a great, and above all reliable, aid in many restaurants today.

Since products are more than just lines on paper—since significant finances need to be invested in various forms, copyrights, patents, etc.—a product needs 100% trust before the project for its creation can begin.

This was a turning point for the company’s direction. Vladimír Dubák and his wife Alena believed the DUNETIC glass washer so thoroughly that they were not afraid to take a major risk and invest all of their life’s savings in the new product. The partner was less committed, and so the two parties reached an agreement on a settlement of property and the partner’s resignation from the firm.

Thus since 2005, DUNET has been a purely family firm.

At present the company is managed by the family’s second generation, full of respect for the founder’s core ideas: conscientious work, the exclusive use of high-quality, health-friendly materials, and constant improvements and sensible innovations to these materials.
